Our Repair Warranty in Plain Terms
Every repair we perform is backed by the terms below. If anything is unclear, call us — we're happy to walk through it.
1-Year Parts Warranty
Every installed replacement part is covered by a 1-year parts warranty from the date of installation. If the same part fails within the warranty period, we return to replace it at no additional charge for the part. Your technician provides the specific warranty terms in writing before any work begins.
Workmanship Guarantee
Our labor is backed by a written workmanship warranty on the repair performed. If the repair fails due to improper installation or workmanship within the guarantee period, we return to correct it. The exact guarantee period is noted on your written repair quote before work starts.
Free Service Call with Approved Repair
Our standard $99 trip-and-diagnostic fee is waived when you approve the recommended repair — you pay for the repair work, not the diagnosis. If you decline the repair, the $99 trip-and-diagnostic fee applies and is due at the time of service.
Upfront, Written Pricing
All pricing is confirmed in writing before any work begins. Your technician inspects, diagnoses, and presents clear options and costs — no surprise bills and no hidden charges. You approve the scope and price before a single tool comes out.
Licensed & Insured
A Team Home Service is a fully licensed and insured residential service provider. Our technicians carry liability coverage and work to manufacturer specifications and local code requirements on every job.
What's Not Covered
Warranty coverage does not extend to damage from misuse, improper installation by others, unrelated failures, cosmetic damage, or customer-supplied parts. Pre-existing conditions and problems unrelated to the original repair are not covered. Your technician explains any exclusions before work begins.
Service Policies
Diagnostic Fee
A $99 trip-and-diagnostic fee covers the service call and full diagnosis of your appliance or HVAC system. This fee is waived when you approve the recommended repair. The fee is due at the time of service if the repair is declined.
Scheduling & Same-Day Service
Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday by appointment, and Sunday closed. Same-day service is available for most calls, subject to availability and time of day. We confirm your appointment window in advance.
Appointment Window
Service calls are scheduled within a time window agreed upon when you book. Your technician calls ahead when en route so you're never left guessing when we'll arrive.
Cancellations & No-Shows
If you need to reschedule, please call us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer your slot to another homeowner. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit to hold future appointments. We'll always do our best to work with your schedule.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept major credit and debit cards and process payment securely through Housecall Pro. A written receipt and warranty document are provided after every job.
Parts & Sourcing
We use OEM and quality replacement parts sourced from authorized distributors where available. Your technician confirms the part type and source before installation. Some specialty or backordered parts may require a return visit.
